Aguila Clan Reunions: A Bridge to our Future, A Link to Our Past

The Aguila Clan of San Jose Batangas in the Philippines has been holding reunions every weekend after the Easter of the year. It has served as a venue for getting together, checking out one another, helping and bonding as a family. Totalling to 1557 members spanning 7 generations, the clan through its reunions persists and continues to become a much awaited annual activity for the young once and the young ones.

Performed by Carole King in Carnegie Hall in the early 70's the song entitled: Song of Long Ago figuratively narrates of the feeling experienced in reunions such as this. In this global world the Aguila Clan clearly and will continue to be a family serving as a "link to our past and the bridge to our future."
